January 25 (SeeNews) - Romania sold on Wednesday 1.333 billion lei ($296 million/272 million euro) worth of new treasury bills maturing April 26, 2023, above the 500 million lei target, central bank data showed.
The average accepted yield was 6.7%, while demand totalled 1.94 billion lei, the data indicated.

Romania's finance ministry intends to sell 5.35 billion lei worth of government securities in January, including 645 million lei.
So far this year, Romania has sold approximately 14.5 billion lei worth of debt paper.
