January 6 (SeeNews) - Romania on Thursday sold 710 million lei ($162 million/144 million euro) worth of Treasury bonds maturing in 2029 and 2036, central bank data showed.
The finance ministry sold 510 million lei worth of Treasury bonds maturing on July 25 2029, slightly above initial target, central bank data showed.
The average accepted yield was 5.30%. The issue will be reopened on Friday, when the finance ministry hopes to raise 75 million lei in a non-competitive tender.
Also on Thursday, Romania sold 200 million lei worth of Treasury bonds maturing on April 28, 2036, in line with target.
The average accepted yield was 5.62%. The issue will be reopened on Friday, when the finance ministry hopes to raise 30 million lei in a non-competitive tender.

Romania's finance ministry said it intends to sell 5 billion lei ($1.14 million/1 billion euro) worth of government securities in January, including 615 million lei in non-competitive offers.
