March 21 (SeeNews) - Romania's finance ministry sold on March 20 1.28 billion lei ($280.9 million/260.6 million euro) worth of government securities maturing in 2024 and 2030, central central bank data showed on Tuesday.
The finance ministry sold as planned 400 million lei worth of Treasury paper maturing on November 25, 2024, central bank data showed.
The average accepted yield was 6.86%. The issue was reopened on Tuesday, when the finance ministry raised an additional 60 million lei in a non-competitive tender.
On March 20, the finance ministry also sold 883 million lei worth of Treasury bonds maturing on April 29, 2030, above target.
