March 7 (SeeNews) - Romania's finance ministry sold a total 854.3 million lei ($185 million/173.5 million euro) worth of two Treasury bond issues maturing respectively in 2028 and 2038, central bank data showed on Monday.
The finance ministry sold 599.2 million lei worth of Treasury bonds maturing on October 30, 2028, above target, central bank data showed.
The average accepted yield was 7.59%. The issue will be reopened on Wednesday, when the finance ministry hopes to raise 75 million lei in a non-competitive tender.
Also on Monday, Romania sold 255.1 million lei worth of Treasury bonds maturing on February 24 2038, below target.
The average accepted yield was 7.99%. This issue will also be reopened on Wednesday, when the finance ministry hopes to raise 45 million lei in a non-competitive tender.
