May 24 (SeeNews) - Romania's finance ministry sold 646 million lei ($140.4 million/129.9 million euro) worth of Treasury notes maturing on May 31, 2027, above its 500 million lei target, central bank data showed.
The average accepted yield was 6.76%. Demand for the bonds which carry an annual coupon of 7.2% reached 1.050 billion lei in Monday's auction.
The issue will be reopened on Wednesday, when the finance ministry hopes to raise an additional 75 million lei in a non-competitive tender.
