November 19 (SeeNews) - Construction production in Romania plunged by 14.2% on the year in September - the largest rate of decrease in construction output among all EU member states for which data is available, Eurostat said.
Romania also posted the EU's biggest monthly fall in construction production in September, of 4.9%, the EU's statistical office said in a statement earlier this week.
Elsewhere in Southeast Europe (SEE), Slovenia saw the highest construction output growth on a monthly comparison basis in the whole EU, of 8.5%.
Among EU member states in SEE for which data is available, Bulgaria led in terms of annual rise in construction output in September - up 1%.
