SOFIA (Bulgaria), November 19 (SeeNews) - Romania saw annual inflation of 6.5% in October - the highest increase in consumer prices among EU member states in Southeast Europe (SEE), Eurostat said.
Romania and Bulgaria shared the region's highest monthly inflation rate, of 1.3%, the bloc's statistical office said in a statement earlier this week.
Elsewhere in SEE, Greece posted the lowest annual inflation among EU countries in the region in October, of 2.8%. In month-on-month comparison, Croatia's inflation was the lowest in SEE - 0.8%.
