January 17 (SeeNews) - Romania saw the lowest quarterly increase in house prices in the third quarter of 2021 among all EU member states for which data is available, of 0.1%, Eurostat said.
On an annual comparison basis, Romania also recorded the lowest growth in house prices among EU countries in Southeast Europe (SEE) in the third quarter, of 5.9%, the bloc's statistical office said in a statement on Friday.
Slovenia's year-on-year rise in house prices of 12.9% was the highest among all EU member states in SEE, while Bulgaria led in terms of quarterly increase on this indicator in the region with a rise of 3.2%.
In contrast to previous quarters, house prices in all EU countries for which data is available went up in the third quarter of 2021, both in annual and quarter-to-quarter terms.
