November 14 (SeeNews) - UAMT, a Romanian manufacturer of parts for the automotove industry, on Wednesday reported a net profit of 227,550 lei ($97,000/66,000 euro) for the nine months through September, up from 164,600 lei in the same period a year earlier.
Company officials were not immediately available to comment.
Following are details from UAMT's income statement to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), where the company is listed (in millions of lei):
UAMT share closed up 4.65% at 0.90 lei on Wednesday on the BVB. UAMT (www.uamt.ro) is based in the city of Oradea, northwestern Romania. Its most important client is Renault-owned Romanian car maker Dacia.
