SOFIA (Bulgaria), November 13 (SeeNews) – Romania attracted an inflow of 2.4 billion euro ($2.8 billion) of personal transfers from citizens living in other EU member states in 2016, Eurostat said in on Monday.
Romania’s balance of personal transfers showed a surplus of 2.2 billion euro in 2016, which was the third largest in the EU, Eurostat said in a statement.
Bulgaria posted the fourth highest surplus in the EU – of 860 million euro.
