BUCHAREST (Romania), November 26 (SeeNews) - Romanian investment platform ROCA Investments, part of Impetum Group, said on Friday it sold commercial and industrial cold technology company Frigotehnica to VINCI Energies Romania.

The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

The transaction was approved by Romania's anti-trust body, ROCA Investments said in a press release.

Frigotehnica was among the first companies in which ROCA invested. If in 2018, Frigotehnica had a turnover of 18 million euro ($20.2 million), was over-indebted and loss-making, now Frigotehnica has a turnover of over 32 million euro and "spectacular growth prospects", ROCA said.

VINCI Energies Romania is part of France-based VINCI Energies Holding, which provides a broad range of services in energy and information technologies. The holding company is present in 120 countries and employs over 220,000 globally.

ROCA was launched in March 2018 and has so far invested in various local companies such as BICO Industries, honey producer and exporter Tremot, shoe manufacturer S-Karp, Frigotehnica, grains trader RDF Arad, railway electrical cables maker Electroplast, chemical company Sinteza, lunch delivery company Yellow Restaurant and port operator Romcargo Maritim.
