BELGRADE (Serbia), January 28 (SeeNews) – Serbian company Belgrade Waterfront, the developer of the eponymous real estate project in the capital city, said on Tuesday it has signed a deal for the construction of BW Metropolitan residential building with a consortium of Dubai-based Roberts Constructions and Serbia's Millennium Team.
The consortium will construct a 60-metre high building with 325 apartments, located close to W hotel and branded W residences, Sava Promenada and Bristol Park, and only a few minutes’ walk from Kula Belgrade, Galerija Belgrade and BW Park, Belgrade Waterfront said in a statement.
"We are pleased to entrust the construction of BW Metropolitan to the consortium Roberts Constructions/Millennium Team, the companies with many years of experience in design, project, construction management and engineering," said Nikola Nedeljkovic, Belgrade Waterfront general manager.
The Belgrade Waterfront project should see the development of around 177 ha of land on the right bank of the Sava river into a mixed-use residential, office and retail scheme, offering 5,700 housing units, 2,200 hotel rooms and capacity to accommodate 12,700 office population.
