November 7 (SeeNews) - New residential buildings completed in Bulgaria in the third quarter of 2019 increased by 60.9% on the year to 740, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Thursday.
The total useful space of newly built dwellings jumped by 71.9% year-on-year to 281,500 sq m in the third quarter, NSI said in a statement.
The highest number of completed residential buildings in the review period was in Varna - 134. Plovdiv and Burgas followed with 77 and 76 new residential buildings, respectively.
Houses constituted 72.2% of all new residential buildings in the third quarter of the year.
