July 24 (SeeNews) - Bosnian reinsurance company Bosna Reosiguranje said on Monday its net profit increased to 13.1 million marka ($7.8 million/6.7 million euro) in the first six months of 2017, from 1.1 million marka a year earlier.
The company's gross written premiums rose 3.0% year-on-year to 19.5 million marka in the first half of 2017, while its operating costs increased 2.1% on the year to 2.6 million marka, the reinsurance company said in a filing with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange.
The company's total assets grew to 134.6 million marka through June from 125.3 million marka in 2016.
Bosna Reosiguranje is owned by several banking and financial institutions, including Slovenian-owned Bosnian insurer Triglav BH Osiguranje, Sarajevo Osiguranje and Euroherc Osiguranje.
