December 2 (SeeNews) - European real estate developer Globe Trade Centre (GTC) said that it appointed its former country manager for Romania and Bulgaria Ziv Gigi as executive director for Southeast Europe (SEE).
Gigi will be responsible for the company's operations in Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Croatia, GTC said in a press release on Tuesday.
He will be in charge of executing the company's strategy and development plan, as well as all of its operational activities, including leasing and asset management.
Gigi has also served as GTC's CFO from 2008 and has developed and managed 450,000 sq m of office and retail projects through his career with the company.
GTC Group is a real estate investor and developer, focusing on Poland and capital cities in Central and Eastern Europe. The company manages a portfolio of 44 commercial buildings, with a total leasable area of 758,000 sq m.
In October, GTC said it has leased 5,000 sq m of office space to Alpha Bank Romania in its City Gate office complex, located in Bucharest. The company completed the refurbishment of the complex in October, following an investment of 3.5 million euro ($3.7 million).
