BELGRADE (Serbia), November 16 (SeeNews) – Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) said on Wednesday its nine-month profit from operations in Serbia rose by 30.3% on the year, reaching 43 million euro ($46 million).
Raiffeisenbank (Serbia) generated an operating income of 96 million euro in the January-September period, down 6.8% year-on-year, figures from RBI's third-quarter financial report showed.
Net fee and commission income rose by 3.7% to 28 million euro, while net interest income fell by 13% to 60 million euro.
With regard to net provisioning for impairment losses RBI said that "an improved risk situation in the corporate business in Serbia resulted in a release of 5 million euro in the reporting period (decline of 14 million euro)."
The total assets of Raiffeisenbank (Serbia) rose by 7% year-on-year to 2.1 billion euro at the end of September.

RBI's Serbian unit had 691,098 customers at end-September, up 5.6% year-on-year, and operated in 86 business outlets, versus 85 a year earlier.
