ZAGREB (Croatia), November 14 (SeeNews) – Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) said on Thursday the net profit of its Croatian unit fell to 38 million euro ($41.8 million) in the first nine months of 2019 from 50 million euro in the like period of last year.
RBI generated an operating income of 145 million euro in Croatia in the first nine months of 2019, down 7.1% on the year, figures from RBI's nine-month financial report showed.
Net fee and commission income rose by 3.7% to 56 million euro, while net interest income remained at the last year's level of 91 million euro, RBI said.
The lender's non-performing loan (NPL) ratio in Croatia was 3.6% at the end of September. NPLs were 73.2% covered with provisions.
RBI's total assets in Croatia decreased 1.5% year-on-year to 4.8 billion euro at the end of September.

RBI's Croatian unit had about 500,000 customers at end-September, unchanged year-on-year, and operated in 77 business outlets, down one.
