November 12 (SeeNews) - Austria's Raiffeisen Bank International Group (RBI) said on Friday it has appointed Zdenek Romanek new CEO of Raiffeisen Bank Romania, as of February 1 next year.
Zdenek Romanek was chosen as CEO in an international selection process and will take over his mandate upon approval from Romania's central bank, RBI said in a press release.
Romanek will replace Steven van Groningen, who concludes his mandate after 20 years as CEO at Raiffeisen Bank Romania.
Zdenek Romanek is a banker with more than 20 years of experience in financial services (banking, insurance investments) and management advisory, with a wide international exposure, in both Central and Eastern Europe, United States and Asia (Singapore and Hong Kong), RBI said.
