BELGRADE (Serbia), November 14 (SeeNews) – Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) said on Tuesday it recorded a net profit of 46 million euro ($53.9 million) from operations in Serbia in the first nine months of 2017, up from 43 million euro profit in the like period of last year.
Raiffeisenbank (Serbia) generated an operating income of 96 million euro in the first nine months of 2017, unchanged from the year-earlier figure, RBI said in its January-September financial report.
Net fee and commission income from operations in Serbia rose by 7.1% to 30 million euro, while net interest income amounted to 60 million euro, flat year-on-year, RBI said.
The lender's non-performing loan (NPL) ratio in Serbia stood at 5.2% at the end of September.
The total assets of Raiffeisenbank (Serbia) rose by 6.9% year-on-year to 2.239 billion euro.

RBI's Serbian unit had 728,727 customers at end-September, up 5.4% year-on-year, and operated in 88 business outlets, versus 86 a year earlier.
