June 24 (SeeNews) - Raiffeisen Bank Romania listed a 525 million lei ($112 million/106 million euro) green bond issue on the main market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, the bourse said on Friday.
The new bond issue is traded on the bourse's main market under the stock ticker RBRO27, the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB, said in a press release.
The new bond issue has a five-year maturity and a coupon rate of 8.927%.
"Through this third issue of green bonds we prove that our commitment to contributing to the development of the sustainable and prosperous communities is lasting and consistent," Raiffeisen Bank executive director of management assets and liabilities Romulus Mircea said.
Earlier this month, the bank issued and sold to 13 bondholders and legal entities 1,000 corporate bonds with a nominal value of 525,000 lei.
This is the bank's third green bond offer on the BVB, after two issues from 2021. The total value of the three offers listed exceeds 2 billion lei.
Raiffeisen Group has 25 years of activity on the Romanian banking market and serves over 2.28 million customers, individuals and legal entities. The bank has almost 4,700 employees, 300 agencies nationwide, 1,131 automatic telling machines and multi-function machines and a network of over 26,400 points of sale.
