SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), August 6 (SeeNews) – Raiffeisen Bank BiH [SAJ:RFSN], the Bosnian unit of Austria's Raiffeisen banking group, said it has recorded a net profit of 54.2 million marka ($31 million/27.7 million euro) in the first half of 2019, down 5.4% year-on-year.
The Bosnian unit of Raiffeisen generated an operating profit of 104 million marka in the first half of 2019, up 5% on the year-ago figure, the bank said in its January-June financial report on Monday.
The bank's operating costs rose to 56 million marka, from 52.4 million marka in the like period last year.
Net fee and commission income grew by 4% to 35.5 million marka, while net interest income rose by 3.5% to 68.8 million marka.
The total assets of Sarajevo-based Raiffeisen Bank BiH rose to 5.6 billion marka at the end of June, up 3.9% compared to the end-2018 figure.
