January 26 (SeeNews) - London-based permanent capital holding company Quadra Group acquired the assets of Bulgarian e-commerce automation software firm Trackerbot, launching a strategic venture in the e-commerce software field, Quadra founder Filip Prokopiev told SeeNews on Thursday.
The transaction was carried out via a leveraged buyout, Prokopiev told SeeNews in a statement.

The value of the deal was not disclosed.
Quadra holds a majority stake in the new venture, while the founders of Trackerbot are minority owners, Prokopiev added.
Trackerbot offers a suite of cloud applications used to automate and facilitate e-commerce processes. According to Quadra’s website, the applications have been used by over 8,000 Amazon and eBay sellers in over 20 countries.
Prokopiev said the company aims to expand its offerings to other major e-commerce platforms such as Shopify. In parallel, the firm will be building new features and product lines, and potentially acquiring complementary applications from third-party developers.
As part of its strategy, Quadra Group seeks to acquire, or partner with small and mid-cap software companies and applications in a small number of strategic verticals.
