October 27 (SeeNews) - ProCredit Bank Serbia recorded a net profit of 748.2 million dinars ($7.3 million/6.3 million euro) in the first half of 2017, down 14.5% on the year, data from the country's central bank, NBS, shows.
ProCredit Bank Serbia's net interest income fell to 1.734 billion dinars from 1.972 billion dinars, while net fee and commission income grew to 587.4 million dinars from 577.7 million dinars, according to the six-month financial statement of the lender, posted on the NBS website.
Net expenses for impairment of financial assets and credit risk off-balance sheet items dropped to 111.8 million dinars from 172 million dinars in the first half of 2016.
The bank's loan portfolio amounted to 79.2 billion dinars, while deposits totalled 74.8 billion dinars at the end of June.
