April 9 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Commission for Protection of Competition said on Thursday that private individual Vasil Vasilev is seeking regulatory approval to become the sole owner of local sunflower seeds trader Euroconsult and holding company Sun Investments Ltd.
Sun Investments Ltd. has two units in Bulgaria, one of which engages in sunflower seeds processing, while the other is active in vermiculite processing, a notice published on the regulator's website reads.

Interested parties have until April 15 to submit their statements regarding the transaction.
According to commercial register data, Vasil Vasilev currently owns 50% interest in Euroconsult.
Euroconsult generated revenue of 231.5 million levs ($128.6 million/118.4 million euro) and a net profit of 4.4 million levs in 2018, according to its most recent annual financial statement.
