September 13 (SeeNews) - The total number of passengers served at Kosovo’s Pristina international airport increased to 2,334,648 in the first eight months of this year, a 13% boost from the like period in 2022, Kosovo’s civil aviation association, CAA, said.
In August alone, the airport handled 411,162 passengers, an 11% increase compared to the same month of 2022, CAA said in a social media post on Tuesday.
The Adem Jashari international airport in Pristina is operated by Limak Kosovo International Airport (LKIA), an arm of Turkish conglomerate Limak Holding, which invests in the sectors of energy, tourism, food, construction, and infrastructure. Limak Holding has operations in 14 countries, according to its 2022 activity report.
