February 16 (SeeNews) - PowerChina is interested in investing, as well as the design and construction of part of a motorway section which will connect the Bosnian towns of Glamocani and Mliniste via Mrkonjic Grad, Bosnia's ministry of communication and transport said.
The Chinese company is interested in taking part in the construction of a part of the motorway section that will pass through both the Serb Republic and the Federation, the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
The Glamocani - Mliniste section will be part of a planned motorway that would stretch from Bosnia's Glamoc to Croatia's Split. At the other end, the motorway section will connect to Hungary through the Croatian town of Okucani. The Glamocani - Mliniste motorway section will be 93 kilometres in length, according to earlier media reports.
The Serb Republic and the Federation are the two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina.
