July 20 (SeeNews) - Serbian businessman Milan Beko has put up for sale the Port of Belgrade and the capital city's New Port, both on Sava river, for 7.6 million euro (8.3 million), local media reported on Wednesday.
The sale is in line with a restructuring plan for the Port of Belgrade, which has been in effect since October 21, 2014, daily Blic reported.

The most valuable assets on sale are a 9,982 sq m food products depot whose starting price is set at 2.3 million euro, and the 7,480 sq m Sava depot with a starting price of 2.2 million euro.
Beko acquired the Port of Belgrade in 1998, as the privatisation deal has been investigated by the authorities. In 2014 Beko survived an assassination attempt.
