April 2 (SeeNews) - Polish flag carrier LOT has launched flights from Romania's capital Bucharest to Krakow, the Bucharest Airports National Company, CNAB, said on Tuesday.
The service will be operated six times a week, except for Sundays, CNAB said in a press release.
LOT will operate the flights with a 78-seat Bombardier Q400 aircraft until end-October, but does not rule out the possibility of extending the service through the winter period.
Bucharest National Airport Company started operations in 2010 and operates Bucharest's main airport Henri Coanda and a smaller one, Aurel Vlaicu. There are 57 airlines currently operating at Henri Coanda International Airport, carrying passengers to more than 128 destinations.
