BELGRADE (Serbia), March 31 (SeeNews) – Polish banking industry computer software company Asseco South Eastern Europe said it signed an agreement with Russia's Sberbank to replace the lender's automated teller machine (ATM) network in Serbia.
The contract includes the delivery of state-of-the-art self-service devices offering advanced functionalities developed in Serbia by Asseco, the company said in a press release.
Under the terms of the deal, Sberbank's network in Serbia will include 40 outsourced ATMs in total, Asseco said.
Russia's Sberbank entered the Serbian market in December 2012 through the acquisition of Volksbank International, the unit responsible for Austria's Oesterreichische Volksbanken's retail operations in Central and Eastern Europe.
