November 12 (SeeNews) - Food company Podravka [ZSE:PODR] topped the blue-chip gainers' list on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) on Monday, bourse data showed.
Podravka's shares closed 0.28% higher at 358.0 kuna.
Hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] generated the highest trading turnover of 2 million kuna. The company lost 0.81% and closed at 36.80 kuna.
Hotel group Jadran [ZSE:JDRN] paced the blue-chip decliners, as its share price decreased by 11.56% to 13.0 kuna.
The bourse's total trading turnover rose to 19 million kuna ($2.9 million/2.6 million euro) on Monday from 4.3 million kuna on Friday.
The bourse was boosted by a block trade in Adris Grupa's preferred shares [ZSE:ADRS2] and Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] stock, totalling 4.25 million kuna and 2 million kuna, respectively.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the ZSE fell 1.04% to 1,767.66 points, after going up 0.03% on Friday.
The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, went down 0.56% to 1,031.53 points, after decreasing 0.10% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS index edged up 0.01% to 111.2431 points.
