February 2 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) declined on Thursday, following a brief recovery on Wednesday, amidst losses in Podravka, bourse data showed.
The 18-share CROBEX dipped 0.10% to close at 2,115.56 points.
The narrower CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, lost 0.33% to finish at 1,232.93 points.
Just like on Wednesday, software developer SPAN [ZSE:SPAN], which is part of the wider index, was the most traded company with a turnover of 462,000 euro ($504,000). However, its price shed 3.33% to end at 43.50 euro after a surge of almost 9% in the previous session.
Food and pharmaceuticals company Podravka [ZSE:PODR] dropped 1.05% to close at 94 euro in a turnover of 206,000 euro.
Power transmission equipment manufacturer Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV] ended 3.64% higher at 2.28 euro as 281 of its shares changed hands on the news that Dalekovod in a consortium with local utility infrastructure solutions provider Victor Energy has submitted the only bid in an international tender for the upgrade of 220 kV Konjsko–Krs Padjene–Brinje power transmission line. The estimated value of the electrical installation and construction works is 19.2 million euro.
The bourse's total trading turnover slightly declined to 1.4 million euro from 1.5 million euro from on Wednesday.
