December 1 (SeeNews) - The main share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) ended higher on Wednesday, backed by gains in food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] and fast moving consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR], bourse data showed.
The ZSE's blue-chip 21-share benchmark CROBEX closed at 1,991.57 points, up 0.53%, ZSE figures showed.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the top 10 companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, advanced 0.65% to finish at 1,221.32 points.
In regular trading, software producer SPAN [ZSE:SPAN] was the most traded stock on Wednesday with a turnover of 779,000 kuna ($117,500/103,600 euro). Its price went up 1.28% to finish at 238 kuna.
Podravka's shares surged 2.30% to end at 624 kuna in a turnover of 292,000 kuna. Shares of Atlantic Grupa increased 1.25% to 1,620 kuna in a turnover of 168,000 kuna.
The ZSE's total turnover reached 10.5 million kuna from 8.6 million kuna on Tuesday due to a 6.4 million kuna block trading with shares of telco Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] . (1 euro = 7.517 Croatian kuna)
