June 7 (SeeNews) - A modular hospital worth 14.6 million lei ($3.1 million/2.9 million euro) was constructed within the emergency county hospital in the southern Romanian city of Ploiesti, Prahova county, the local government said on Wednesday.
The investment, financed through European funds granted under the Large Infrastructure Operational Programme, increased the number of intensive care beds in the county hospital from 30 to 42, the Prahova county council said in a press release.
