August 7 (SeeNews) - The Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) blue-chip SBITOP index dropped 0.74% to 861.81 points on Wednesday, hit by a 3.63% decrease in the share price of fuel trader Petrol [LJE:PETG].
Other major blue-chip decliners on Wednesday were chemicals maker Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] and logistics group Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG], both of which lost 0.79%.
LJSE's total daily trading turnover grew to 1.71 million euro ($1.92 million) on Wednesday from 766,930 euro on Tuesday.
Trade in drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] shares formed the largest trading turnover on Wednesday, of 672,090 euro.
