January 19 (SeeNews) - Fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] was the top blue-chip gainer in Thursday's trading session on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE), bourse data indicated.
Petrol shares closed 2.79% higher at 330 euro ($350) in a trading turnover of 170,510 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and highly capitalised stocks on the LJSE, added 1.01% to 740.73 points, after ticking up 0.04% on Wednesday.
Total trading turnover on the LJSE rose to 1.41 euro from 802,780 euro on Wednesday. The largest turnover, of 659,270 euro, was generated by Slovenian insurer Triglav [LJE:ZVTG]. The company closed 0.91% higher.
The share price of financial provider KD Group [LJE:KDHR] declined the most among the blue chips, falling 0.91% to a close of 8.75 euro. The company had a slim turnover of 350 euro.
