LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), February 27 (SeeNews) – Slovenian energy group Petrol [LJE:PETG] posted the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Thursday, bourse data showed.
Petrol’s shares closed at 370.0 euro, up 1.37%.
On Wednesday, Petrol said it signed an agreement for the acquisition of 100% interest in electricity distributor E3, a unit of local state-controlled electricity distribution company Elektro Primorska.
Financial group KD [LJE:KDHR] fell the most among the blue chips. The company's shares ended Thursday's session 0.58% lower at 85.5 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, added 0.19% to 929.42 points.
Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJSE:NLBR] generated the day’s largest turnover – of 948,810 euro. Total regulated market turnover fell to 2.15 million euro ($2.3 million), from 2.8 million euro on Wednesday.
