December 22 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed in green territory on Wednesday, with petroleum and fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] leading the gainers and topping the turnover list, bourse data showed.
Petrol's shares rose 2.97% to 485 euro on Wednesday, LJSE data showed. The company's shares switched hands in 27 transactions worth 487,290 euro ($551,300).
At the other end, lender Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJE:NLBR] lead the decliners, with shares falling 3.85% to 75 euro on Wednesday.
The blue-chip SBITOP index inched up 0.09% to a closing value of 1,234.75 points, while the SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, advanced 0.88% to 1,450.55 points.
The bourse's daily trading turnover rose to 740,923 euro on Wednesday from 550,445 euro generated on Tuesday.
