December 14 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) gained ground on Tuesday after two consecutive days of losses, with petroleum and fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] leading the blue-chip risers, bourse data showed.
Petrol's shares gained 1.50% and closed at 474 euro on Tuesday, LJSE data showed. The company also generated the highest daily turnover on the bourse - of 963,983 euro ($1.1 million).
Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] paced the decliners, as its shares closed at 55.60 euro, down 1.77% compared with the previous trading day.
The blue-chip SBITOP index advanced 0.43% to 1,233.03 points. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also rose 0.43% to 1,437.17 points.
Total daily turnover came in at 2.1 million euro on Tuesday, more than double compared with 799,345 euro generated the previous trading day.
