August 8 (SeeNews) - Fertiliser producer Petrokemija [ZSE:PTKM-R-A] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Zagreb Stock Exchange on Tuesday, bourse data showed.
Petrokemija's shares closed 2.99% higher at 15.50 kuna.
Telecoms group Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT-R-A] generated the highest trading turnover of 2.6 million kuna. The company's share price rose 0.87% and closed at 181.50 kuna.
Telecoms equipment manufacturer Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT-R-A] paced the blue-chip decliners as its share price fell 3.11% to 1,245 kuna.
The bourse's total trading turnover rose to 6.9 million kuna ($1.1 million/932,230 euro) on Tuesday from 5.08 million kuna on Monday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the ZSE rose 0.15% to 1,890.40 points, after falling 0.29% on Monday.
The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, rose 0.13% to 1,112.42 points after growing 0.32% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS index closed flat at 110.4718 points.
