April 20 (SeeNews) - Slovenia’s three international airports, Ljubljana, Maribor and Portoroz, served a total of 419,300 passengers combined in 2021, up from 287,800 in the previous year, the country's statistical office said on Wednesday.
The largest passenger traffic with scheduled flights was recorded to or from Germany and Turkey, up 23% and 13%, respectively, the statistical office said in a statement.
Most of the passengers at the two airports came from Germany (76,800), Turkey (42,400) and Belgium (34,700).
Cargo traffic at the three international airports rose 7.9% to 11,400 tonnes last year.
