PODGORICA (Montenegro), February 18 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s two international airports, Podgorica and Tivat, serviced a total of 347,193 passengers combined in the fourth quarter of 2018, up 10.7% on the year, data from the country's statistical office shows.
Podgorica airport serviced 237,017 passengers in the fourth quarter of 2018, up 7.9%, according to data released by the statistical office on Friday.
Tivat airport handled 110,176 passengers in October-December, up 17.3%.
The total number of aircraft serviced by the two airports went up by 3% in the period under review, to 3,756, whereas cargo volume increased 8% to 230 tonnes.
