PODGORICA (Montenegro), August 11 (SeeNews) - Montenegro’s two international airports, Podgorica and Tivat, served a total of 506,549 passengers combined in the second quarter of 2022, up from 220,585 in the like period of the previous year, the country's statistical office said.

Podgorica airport served 345,822 passengers in the second quarter of 2022, while Tivat airport handled 160,727 passengers, the statistical office said in a statement without providing comparative figures.

Most of the passengers at the two airports came from Serbia (130,984), Turkey (63,633) and Austria (45,315).
