May 19 (SeeNews) - Montenegro’s two international airports, Podgorica and Tivat, served a total of 169,994 passengers combined in the first quarter of 2022, up from 65,642 in the like period of the previous year, the country's statistical office said.
Podgorica airport served 138,286 passengers in the first quarter of 2022, while Tivat airport handled 31,708 passengers, the statistical office said in a statement without providing comparative figures.
Most of the passengers at the two airports came from Serbia (72,945), Turkey (35,264) and Austria (16,714).
