PODGORICA (Montenegro), February 27 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s two international airports, Podgorica and Tivat, served a total of 399,719 passengers combined in the fourth quarter of 2019, up 14.5% year-on-year, the country's statistical office said.
Podgorica airport served 265,617 passengers in the fourth quarter of 2019, while Tivat airport handled 134,102 passengers, the statistical office said in a statement without providing comparative figures.
Most of the passengers at the two airports came from Serbia (117,721), Russia (73,835) and Germany (41,051).
In the fourth quarter of 2018, the airports in Podgorica and Tivat served a total of 347,193 passengers, up 10.7% on the year, the statistical office said earlier.
