PODGORICA (Montenegro), February 19 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s two international airports, Podgorica and Tivat, serviced a a total of 313,528 passengers combined in the fourth quarter of 2017, up 19.9% on the year, data from the country's statistical office shows.
Podgorica airport serviced 219,633 passengers in the fourth quarter of 2017, up 23.1%, according to data released by the statistical office.
Tivat airport handled 93,895 passengers in October-December, up 13.2%.
The total number of aircraft serviced by the two airports went up by 11% in the period under review, to 3,645, whereas cargo volume decreased 4% to 213 tonnes.
