PODGORICA (Montenegro), November 19 (SeeNews) –Montenegro’s two international airports, Podgorica and Tivat, serviced a total of 1.206 million passengers combined in the third quarter of 2018, up 10.7% on the year, data from the country's statistical office shows.
Podgorica airport serviced 473,936 passengers in the third quarter of 2018, up 14.3%, according to data released by the statistical office.
Tivat airport handled 731,871 passengers in July-September, up 8.5%.
The total number of aircraft serviced by the two airports went up by 9.5% in the period under review, to 9,695, whereas cargo volume increased 4.5% to 255 tonnes.
