PODGORICA (Montenegro), August 16 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s two international airports, Podgorica and Tivat, served a total of 713,747 passengers combined in the second quarter of 2019, up 9.5% year-on-year, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
Podgorica airport served 345,772 passengers in the second quarter of 2019, while Tivat airport handled 367,975 passengers, the statistical office said in a statement without providing comparative figures.
Most of the passengers at the two airports came from Russia (185,700), Serbia (140,700) and Germany (57,650).
In the first quarter, the airports in Podgorica and Tivat served a total of 256,332 passengers, up 7.2% on the year, the statistical office said earlier.
