January 30 (SeeNews) - German car parts manufacturer Pass is in negotiations with Tesla to start producing automobile parts for the U.S. electric car maker at its plants in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Rado Maletic, director of Pass' unit in Bosnia said.
Pass hopes to start manufacturing car parts for Tesla by the end of the year, Maletic said in an interview with public service broadcaster BHRT posted of its YouTube channel on Sunday.
The Bosnian plants of Pass specialise in the production of pressure hoses.
Earlier in January, the economy and entrepreneurship minister of Bosnia's Serb Republic's Vojin Mitrovic said that Tesla plans to start operations in Bosnia's Bijeljina in 2023, without revealing further details.
Pass which entered Bosnia in 2018 opened its fourth production plant in Bijeljina in September. The German company's four plants in Bijeljina spread over an area of over 22,000 sq m.
