PODGORICA (Montenegro), August 10 (SeeNews) – Hungarian financial services group OTP said on Friday its Montenegrin unit, Crnogorska Komercijalna Banka, turned to a net profit of 1.4 billion forints ($5.0 million/4.3 million euro) in the first half of the year, from a loss of 12 million forints in the like period of 2107.
Crnogorska Komercijalna Banka's net interest income rose 8% year-on-year to 3.5 billion forints, while its net fees and commission income grew 22% to 1.5 billion forints, OTP said in an interim financial report.
Gross loans of OTP's Montenegrin unit rose 22% compared to the end-2017 figure to 169.6 billion forints, while total assets increased 12% to 220.95 billion forints as at the end of June.
In Southeast Europe, OTP is also present in Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Croatia.
