LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), May 12 (SeeNews) – Hungary's OTP Group will squeeze out the minorities at its Slovenian unit SKB Banka, which it acquired at the end of 2019, the Slovenian bank said on Tuesday.
The decision was approved at SKB Banka's May 11 shareholders meeting, SKB said in a statement.

OTP owns 99.75% of SKB Banka, the statement read.
The Hungarian banking group completed the acquisition of SKB Banka from France's Societe Generale Group in December 2019. At the time of the acquisition, SKB Banka was the 4th largest bank in Slovenia with a market share of nearly 9%, OTP said back then.
